Rolls-Royce has officially introduced a new special version of the Phantom Drophead Coupe, which has been called the Nighthawk Edition.
The newest addition to the Rolls-Royce Phantom lineup is a special version called the Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk. The model in question is aimed towards the North American market and if you have your eyes on one you should probably hurry up and place a deposit because only nine units will be created. The luxury drop-top cruiser has been finished in a Diamond Black Metallic and it is getting the matte black across the hood and a fresh set of silver alloy wheels, to help it stand out from a crowd much easier.
Changes applied to it will not stop here because the cabin has been tweaked too and this is coming with some carbon fiber elements, noticeable on the door trims and on the dashboard, carbon on the instrument cluster, a three-spoke steering wheel, black and Hotspur Red finished leather parts and several other goodies. We are not sure at this time whether the engine has been modified in any way but the standard Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe is packing in a 6.75 liter V12 engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 453 HP (320 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque, out if which 75 percent is available from just 1,000 rpm. The unit is sending power to the RWD through an 8-speed automatic transmission. No pricing details for the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk have been announced yet.
