Ford of Europe has officially pulled the wraps off its newest creation, a one-off version of the Focus RS, with the Forza Motorsport 6 theme on it.
According to the car manufacturer, the model in question has been designed by players of Forza Motorsport for Xbox and it will be driven to a special event in Cologne, Germany, by the Stig. The vehicle is coming with the multi-color wrap, with an image of the new generation of the Ford GT and, of course, with the Forza Motorsport 6 graphics.
“In Forza Motorsport 6, racing and gaming enthusiasts all over the world will be the first to experience Ford’s new ultra-high-performance supercar, the Ford GT,” said Dan Greenawalt, creative director at Turn 10 Studios in Redmond, Washington, U.S. “In Cologne we’re excited to showcase the real all-new Focus RS clad in a special paint scheme created by the Forza community. During Gamescom, gamers will also get to see the Forza Motorsport 6 cover-car Ford GT in person.”
The brand new Ford Focus RS has been officially unveiled earlier this year and it is coming with a lot of improvements compared to its predecessor, which includes, besides the more aerodynamic and more aggressive body kit or the higher performance engine added to its hood, an all-wheel drive system with dynamic torque vectoring control. Power is being provided by a 2.3 liter EcoBoost four-cylinder unit, rated at 345 HP (257 kW) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque, connected to a 6-speed manual transmission.
