Chery has recently pulled the wraps off the Alpha 7 Concept, ahead of the model’s official debut scheduled for the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show.
After showing us the first images with the Beta 5 crossover concept, Chery is ending up in our news once again, this time with the Alpha 7 Concept, which has been officially unveiled, ahead of its public debut in Shanghai. The model is serving as a preview for the next generation of the Chery A4 and it’s getting the new corporate logo which seems similar to the one used by Infiniti.
The brand new Chery Alpha 7 Concept has new styling and it’s 4,650 mm long, 1,820 mm wide and 1,480 mm tall, riding on a 2,700 mm wheelbase. The model in question is powered by a 1.6 liter turbo engine, mated to a six-speed DCT. The engine will also become available for the new generation of the Chery A4 and it’s based on the current 126 BHP (94 kW) 1.6 liter unit. Sadly we have no more details on the Chery Alpha 7 Concept for the moment, but the model will make its debut in Shanghai, on the 20th of April.
