Chevrolet has officially pulled the wraps off the new Adra Concept, during the 2014 New Delhi Auto Expo, in a world premiere.
After it was teased just a day before writing this article, the new Chevrolet Adra Concept is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker officially pulling the wraps off its body, in New Delhi, during the automotive event. The new Chevrolet Adra Concept is a compact crossover which has been developed at the General Motors Technical Center India, in Bangalore, and it adopts the company’s international design language, but it’s said to have been configured with the needs of Indian customers in mind.
“The Adra is a major achievement for our local designers, who conceptualized and designed the model from the ground up. It represents a new possibility for the fast-growing compact SUV segment”, said Paddock in the official press release.
The Chevrolet Adra Concept has all the ingredients you expect to see in an SUV or a crossover, including the all-around visibility in the roomy cabin, the tall seating position, the high ground clearance and much more. The carmaker didn’t say anything on a possible production version but don’t act too surprised if you will see it in Indian showrooms in the nearby future.
