Chevrolet has just unveiled the Neiman Marcus Camaro Convertible special edition which will be built in only 100 units. The Neiman Marcus edition is painted in an exclusive Deep Bordeaux exterior color, accented by subtle, “ghosted” rally stripes.
“In low light, it appears almost black with a touch of deep violet,” said Tom Peters, Chevrolet design director. “In sunlight, a little bit of red and burgundy appear.”
It will also get a a color-matched fabric top and windshield frame finished in matte silver.
The top-of-the-line 2SS model has a ferocious 6.2-liter V8 engine and the purchaser’s choice of a 426-horsepower six-speed manual or 400-horsepower six-speed automatic transmission. Brembo high-performance disc brakes and Pirelli P-ZeroTM ultrahigh performance tires keep the ride under control. The Neiman Marcus Camaro Convertible has a retail price of $75,000, and will be ready for delivery in the spring of 2011.
