The German based aftermarket specialists at GME have recently upgraded the current Chevrolet Camaro SS, which has received a power bump and some other goodies.
The new generation of the Chevrolet Camaro may be just around the corner but that doesn’t mean that the current one is good for the scrap yard, and this is what German tuner GME Exclusive is trying to prove, with the introduction of a power package for the Camaro SS. According to the company, the vehicle has received a supercharger and a custom exhaust system, to the 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is now capable of producing no less than 619 HP (455 kW) and 692 Nm (510 lb-ft) of torque.
This is way more than the standard 432 HP (318 kW) and 569 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque. Thanks to the power bump, the muscle car is now capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 11.8 seconds. Top speed of the vehicle stands at 300 km/h (186 mph). Besides the power bump, the Camaro SS by GME Exclusive, has also received the high performance braking system, the adjustable suspension or the 20-inch forged wheels. The price of this vehicle stands at 64,500 euros, VAT included.
