The aftermarket specialists at O.CT-Tuning have officially presented to the public an upgrade package for the Chevrolet Camaro which has been named the Transformers Edition.
After General Motors has actually presented its Transformers Edition last year, celebrating the movie with the same name, that same idea is once again highlighted, this time by O.CT-Tuning. The company has “moved” its attention from Chrysler muscle cars to the competition in order to attract more customers into the brand, and based on the success of the Transformers movies, the Chevrolet Camaro Transformers Edition has a big chance of becoming a best-seller.
“Once again O.CT-Tuning, a company best known for its legendary compressor modifications for various Chrysler SRT-8 models presents a car with monstrous engine capacity for the interested fan groups. This time they focused on a coupe by Chevrolet named Camaro Transformer Edition with the original (!) cylinder displacement of 6.2 liters”, as O.CT-Tuning says in its official press release.
According to the aftermarket specialists, the Chevrolet Camaro Transformers Edition is based on the 6.2 liter supercharged engine, which is now developing a total output of 621 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 730 Nm (538 lb-ft). The upgrade package is completed with a refreshed exterior look which is bringing the vehicle closer to Bumblebee. There is no official word on the price list just yet and we don’t know if the same treatment will be applied to other vehicles in the Chevrolet lineup.
