Chevrolet has recently announced that thee Colorado pickup has been launched in Malaysia, where the entry-level version has a starting price of RM90, 267.
According to the over-seas car manufacturer, the Chevy Colorado pickup, recently launched in Malaysia, is only available as a double cab, with two engine choices, the 2.5 liter and the 2.8 liter Duramax diesel units, and two transmission options, the five-speed manual and the six-speed automatic. Power is only being sent to the all-wheel drive system so if you were looking for the fuel economy of a two-wheel drive vehicle you’re in the wrong place.
The Chevrolet Colorado is being offered at RM90,267 for the entry-level version and for the money future owners of the pickup in Malaysia will get features like the USB, Bluetooth, stereo system, Driver Info Center, two airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist (BA), while the same variant, but powered by the larger 2.8 unit, is adding the CBC (Cornering Brake Control), TCS (Traction Control System), PBA (Panic Brake Assist), HBFA (Hydraulic Brake Fade Assist) and the ESP.
The 2.8 LTZ is the top-of-the-line version and the model is only available with the six-speed automatic transmission. The 2.8 liter engine found under its hood is developing a total output of 180- HP and it has a peak torque of 470 Nm, allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.2 seconds. The 2.8 LTZ is adding features like the climate control, auto door lock, cruise control, LED taillights, fog lights, power folding mirrors, multi-function steering wheel, 17-inch alloy wheels and many more.
