Callaway has recently released some new and interesting details on the upgraded Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, which has received the so-called SC610 package.
If you are a fan of the Chevrolet Corvette, despite the numerous problems General Motors has encountered these past few months, than you should know that Callaway has released some new details on the sports car which has received the SC610 package. This is getting a modified intercooler with the three liquid to air cooling elements and it protrudes the hood to ensure a better air cooling, along with a new intake manifold for the supercharger and some other tweaks.
The Callaway Chevrolet Corvette C7 is coming with the 6.2 liter V8 engine under its hood which now, thanks to the Eaton supercharger, it can produce a total output of 627 HP (468 kW), at 6,400 rpm and it has a peak torque of 826 Nm (610 lb-ft), available at 4,400 rpm. Callaway still hasn’t announced any performance details on the modified Corvette but at least we now know that the aftermarket kit is in production and it will be priced from 22,995 USD, without the donor car, of course.
