After we have announced a 6-month waiting list for the regular 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, time has come to tell you about an even longer waiting time for the Z51 Performance Package equipped model, for which its future owners will have to wait up to one year. the announcement hasn’t been made officially but it was published by our colleagues at GM Authority, who are saying that the Z51-equipped Corvette Stingray is an extremely popular ride.
The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette has entered production this year, a few months after it has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 NAIAS in Detroit. The model is available in two body styles, two-door coupe and two-door convertible, being powered by a 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 455 HP (339 kW) and 460 lb-ft (624 Nm) of torque. Power is being sent ot the rear wheels through either a 7-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint takes 3.8 seconds.
