The first images with the new Chevrolet Niva Concept have recently leaked ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2014 Moscow Motor Show.
The Chevrolet Niva Concept has been teased a couple of weeks ago and now the model is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of some leaked images. The model in question will have an overall length of 4,316 mm, making it 260 mm longer than the current generation of the SUV. The vehicle is also getting McPherson struts, on the front suspension, and independent rear suspension.
Additional equipment added to it include the snorkel, the roof rack with the attached spare wheel, the engine protection on the front axle or the 16-inch wheels wrapped in off-road tires. The Chevrolet Niva Concept is taking its power from a 1.8 liter naturally aspirated petrol burner, sourced from Peugeot, rated at 135 HP (100 kW). The unit is connected to a 5-speed manual transmission, made by General Motors, sending power to the permanent all-wheel drive. The Chevrolet Niva Concept will be officially unveiled today, August 27, during the 2014 Moscow Motor Show, in a world premiere.
