The Chevrolet Orlando has recently arrived in Malaysia where the model is now available for its future customers starting at RM118,888, without insurance.
According to the North American based automaker, the Chevrolet Orlando is based on the Delta platform, the same one underpinning the Cruze, and the model, which is produced in South Korea, is only available in the LT trim level for the moment. Features like the adjustable steering wheel, cruise control, parking sensors, electrically adjustable door mirrors, traction control, Brake Assist, ABS, EBD and 17-inch alloy wheels are available for the model in Malaysia.
Power to the Chevrolet Orlando is being provided by a 1.8 liter Ecotec petrol engine, which is producing a total output of 141 HP at 6,200 rpm and 176 Nm of torque available at 3,800 rpm. The unit is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel consumption stands at 7.9 liters burned every 100 km in a combined cycle.
Chevrolet says that six body colors are available for the Orlando in Malaysia, the Summit White, the Deep Espresso Brown, the Carbon Flash Black, the Stain Steel Grey, the Gun Smoke Grey and the Switchblade Silver. A five-year / 200,000 km warranty, with an engine oil change at every 15,000 km is offered for the Orlando in Malaysia.
