The North American based automaker Chevrolet has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the Sail Sedan, during the 2013 Detroit Motor Show, in a premiere.
After the first image with the Chevrolet Sail Sedan has ended up on the internet a couple of weeks ago, the model is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time in an official manner, with the carmaker pulling the wraps off its body during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The Chevrolet Sail Sedan has been developed for emerging markets like India, Chine, Chile or Peru but a more premium LTZ version might make its way into other countries too.
The Chevrolet Sail Sedan will go on sale with either the1.2 liter S-TEC II engine or with the larger 1.4 liter S-TEC III unit. Safety features found on the model include the de impact beams, the collapsible steering system, the speed sensitive automatic door locks, the ABS, the EBD, the airbags and more. In India, the Chevrolet Sail Sedan will go on sale with a 5-year or 150,000 km warranty and rumors are saying that its price will be set at approximately Rs 6-7.5 lakh. Additional details on the Chevy Sail Sedan will be announced soon.
