The North American based automotive giant, General Motors, has recently launched the online configurators of the new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
The cheapest model is the 2014 GMC Sierra, which comes at 33,210 UD, when equipped with the 4.3 liter V6 EcoTec3 engine, on a short-bed crew cab 1500 with two-wheel drive, , while the similar Chevrolet Silverado will set you back for 32,710 USD. The 6.5-foot bed will add 300 USD on the price of both models.
The 5.3 liter EcoTec3 V8 engine is expected to become the unit of choice across the United States on both Silverado and GMC Sierra. This will add 895 USD over the standard price, while the four-wheel drive option will set you back for another 3,150 USD. An extra 995 USD will have to be paid if you want the 8-inch touch screen radio with navigation system. A decently equipped LTZ 4×4 with the Z71 package can be had at less than 50,000 USD, but the total price of a fully loaded model can easily surpass the number mentioned above. The configurator for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado can be found here, while the one for the 2014 GMC Sierra here.
