The Silverado Custom Sport Special Edition has been recently announced by the North American based automaker Chevrolet.
Chevy’s newest creation is called the Silverado Custom Sports Special Edition and it is adding several visual tweaks for the model, which should make it more appealing into the eyes of its future customers. According to the car manufacturer, this is basically a package available for the LT and for the LTZ and it is adding the body colored front and rear bumper, the body colored front grille surround, the chrome treatment for the body side moldings, mirror caps, door handles and 20-inch alloy wheels and the chrome accented black finish for the front grille.
“The Custom Sport special edition was inspired by Chevy Custom Sport Trucks of the late 1960s. Those CST models added a touch of elegance to a great all-around truck, just like the Custom Sport package for the new Silverado”, said the Chevrolet Trucks marketing director, Sandor Piszar.
Besides the features mentioned above, the Chevy Silverado Custom Special Edition is also adding the power adjusted heated side mirrors, the projector beam headlights, the tow hooks and several other items. The Silverado LT with the Custom Sport Package is coming in a black or white finish, while the LTZ has a black or White Diamond paint. Prices for the kit will vary between 1,950 USD and 2,950 USD. Order books will begin by the end of this month, as Chevrolet is saying.
