Chevrolet is planning to put the brand new 2015 Tahoe Police Patrol Vehicle into production sometimes next year.

After it was officially presented to the public recently, during the 2013 SEMA Motor Show, in Las Vegas, the brand new 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Patrol Vehicle is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of an official announcement. According to the North American based automaker, the model in question will be put into production and it should receive some upgraded brakes, a new suspension system possibly more power from its engine and the usual upgrades in the cabin and on the exterior.

The 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Patrol Vehicle is taking its power from a 5.3 liter V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 355 HP and it has a peak torque of 383 lb-ft. The engine in question might be stock but power is being sent to the all-wheel drive through a 6-speed automatic transmission, which has been specifically tweaked for police work, but Chevy didn’t explain how exactly. Additional details on the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe Patrol Police Vehicle are limited for the moment and will be announced sometimes next year.
