The North American based automaker Chevrolet has officially revealed the Trailblazer at the 33rd Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand.
After the Chevrolet Trailblazer has been previewed last year at the Dubai International Motor Show, in concept form, the model is once again placed into the highlights with the car manufacturer revealing it in full production form in Thailand, at the Bangkok International Motor Show. According to the carmaker, the SUV version of the Colorado pickup will be available in both two and four-wheel drvie and the model will come with the four-cylinder Duramax turbo diesel unit, the 2.8 liter VGT with 180 horsepower and 470 Nm of torque (440 Nm with manual transmission), the same one found on the Colorado, along with the 2.5 liter unit which is developing 150 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.
The Chevrolet Trailblazer is equipped with traction control, EBD, hill start assist, hill descent control, brake assist, ABS, electronic stability control, front airbags, engine drag control and dynamic rear brake proportioning, along with the third row of seats and leather upholstery. The Trailblazer will be offered, according to the car manufacturer, in two trim levels, the LT and the LTZ, both of them with a choice of seven exterior color choices: Switchblade Silver, Royal Gray, Blue Mountain, Auburn Brown, Sizzle Red, Black Sapphire and Summit White. More details on the Chevrolet Trailblazer will be announced later this year, when the model will go on sale.
