The Chevrolet Trax will be officially presented to the public at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, where it will get three engines, all-wheel drive and the MyLink system.
According to the North American based automaker, the Chevrolet Trax will be a B-segment SUV and it will be offered on the market with three engines, a 1.4 liter petrol turbo, a 1.6 liter petrol naturally aspirated and a 1.7 liter diesel. Chevrolet says that the 1.4 liter Turbo unit is coming with 140 HP and 200 Nm of torque and the version on which it will be found will be available with an all-wheel drive system.

It is a modern, highly versatile yet fuel-efficient small SUV, offering car-like handling and all-wheel drive. Trax is the modern expression of one of Chevrolet’s core competencies, which is building and selling great SUVs”, said the president and managing director of Chevrolet Europe, Susan Docherty.
Besides the petrol unit, the 1.7 liter diesel, with its 130 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, will also be available with the all-wheel drive system. The two engines will be mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and customers will be able to choose between FWD and AWD. The Chevrolet Trax will be offered with features like the ABS with EBD, traction control, hill climb assist, electronic stability control and six airbags, along with the MyLink system. The Chevrolet Trax is 4,228 mm long, 1,776 mm wide and it’s wheelbase is 2,555 mm ling. The vehicle has a total boot capacity of 358 liters.
