Chevrolet treats World Series MVP to 50th anniversary Camaro image

Ben Zobrist, the World Series MVP, has received a spectacular new Chevrolet Camaro for his part in the Chicago Cubs win of the World Series.

This is the team’s first Major League Baseball World Seriessince 1908 and Ben Zobrist, the series’ most valuable player, has received a great perk from Chevrolet – a 2017 Camaro SS 50th Anniversary Edition. Zobrist earned the MVP title after performing well in all seven games with a .357 batting average. He was also part of the World-Series-winning Kansas City Royals last year as this is his first season with the Cubs.

Chevrolet is also putting a milestone this year – with the Camaro celebrating half a century of existence – and of course being gifted a limited series version. The 50th anniversary pack can be had on the 2LT and 2SS trim coupes and convertibles. They get a Nightfall Gray Metallic paint with dual orange stripes, as well as black accents, on the hood and trunk. There’s also a satin chrome grille and handsome 20-inch wheels with orange brake callipers – while inside the upholstery is made out of black leather and suede. Zobrist’s example has the most powerful 2SS trim that comes with the 6.2-liter V8 churning out 455 hp (339 kW) and 455 lb-ft (617 Nm) – but we don’t know if he selected the six speed manual or the eight-speed auto.
