Chevrolet will develop a new facelift for the Captiva image

The North American based automotive giant General Motors has recently started the development of a new facelifted version of the Captiva.

Chevrolet doesn’t have any plans of creating a successor of the Captiva and with no new generation of the model seen anywhere on the horizon, the company is planning to keep on attracting customers to its small SUV with the development of another facelift. This will basically be the facelifted version of the facelift introduced last year, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, and if you don’t believe us, check out the spy photos posted below.

The model in question has a covered front fascia which basically suggests that the upgrades will be limited to this “area”. Expect a new design for the grille, a new front bumper, some slightly updated headlights, fog lamps and probably new LED daytime running lights. Considering the fact that this is a simple test mule, the final production model may see some minor modifications made to its rear end too. The cabin is expected to be slightly updated too but the engine lineup will most likely remain the same. More details on the 2015 Chevrolet Captiva are currently limited.
