Chevrolet has recently announced its plans to introduce two new Sonic sedans at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, the Dusk and the RS.
The new Chevrolet Sonic generation, or the Aveo as it is known in some markets, is getting ready to receive two new versions, which will debut at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. The first one to be unveiled will be the Sonic RS Sedan, which will be heavily influenced by the hatchback. Expect an aggressive body kit for this version, along with an upgraded interior and a 1.4 liter turbocharged EcoTec engine under its hood, producing a total output of 138 HP (103 kW) and 200 Nm (148 lb-ft) of torque.
Besides the new Sonic RS Sedan, the North American based automaker Chevrolet will also pull the wraps off the Sonic Dusk. This was already previewed by a concept car at the 2013 SEMA Motor Show and it will get a Pearl Nickel exterior finish, with matte trim, 18-inch alloy wheels and a rear spoiler. The cabin of the model will gain the MyLink infotainment system, the leather / suede seats and much more. Power is expected to be provided by the same 1.4L unit found on the Sonic RS.
