Chevrolet has recently announced the official starting price for the new Corvette Stingray Coupe and Convertible in Canada.
According to the North American based automaker, the cheapest 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe will set you back for $52, 745 in Canada while the Corvette Stingray Convertible has been priced from $58, 245. Both prices exclude the $1,700 destination charge, as well as the title, tags and taxes.
“The 2014 Corvette Stingray delivers a combination of performance, design and technology that very few manufacturers can match, and none can even come close for under $53,000. The new Corvette Stingray perfectly embodies Chevrolet’s mission to deliver more than expected for our customers and signals that we are ready to grow Corvette sales in Canada by providing our customers with a performance value equation that is second to none in the industry”, said the Chevy Canada general director of Marketing and Communications, Rob Assimakopoulos.
As a quick reminder, all versions of the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray are powered by the 6.2 liter LT1 V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 450 BHP and it has a peak torque of 450 lb-ft (609 Nm). The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint in the sports car takes less than 4 seconds and the vehicle can return 26+ mpg on the highway.
