The aftermarket specialists at Callaway have revised their upgrade package aimed towards the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.
The new generation of the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has a lot of packages offered onto it, which are bringing some interesting features, but if you don’t dig any of those, than what Callaway is offering for the sports car may be just what you are looking for. The so-called SC610 package, which has been originally introduced at the beginning of the year, is now taking a step forward by increasing the output of the Eaton supercharger to a new impressive number.
The power gains were able thanks to the three-element intercooler and to the tweaking of the exhaust system. Callaway says that the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, with its 6.2 liter V8 engine, can now produce a total output of 620 HP (462 kW) and it has a peak torque of 812 Nm (600 lb-ft). These figures are not final because more will be announced in the weeks to come. Sadly this is all we’ve got on the Callaway Chevrolet Corvette Stingray for the moment as the tuning company didn’t even release some performance specifications with the model pictured below.
