Chevy Malibu heading to Frankfurt image

Chevrolet will launch its Malibu model in Europe and the Frankfurt Motor Show will be the event where the American car will be officially presented.

The Malibu is based on the Epsilon II platform, with 4.86m in length, 1.85m width and 1.46m height. Chevy’s model has a trunk capacity of 462 liters and the car comes with a lot of systems, like the “basic” ABS, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution), BA (Brake Assistance), hydraulic brake assist and a torque control system.

The GM car is powered by a 2.0 liter four cylinder petrol unit, which is developing 164 horsepower, and by a 2.4 liter diesel engine delivering 169 horsepower, both connected to a manual or automatic transmission.

The Chevy Malibu also benefits from its 8 airbags which are offered as standard while the higher versions get reverse parking assist and reverse camera.

After its world debut at the US and China auto shows, the Chevrolet Malibu will be officially unveiled in Europe too, at the next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show.
