Being already available on the European auto market, the Chevrolet Orlando compact people carrier will arrive in Canada this October, General Motors setting its price for the entry level.
According to the manufacturer the Canadian Orlando will be available in three trim levels, with the LS being the cheapest, at 19.995 Canadian dollars, the LT being mid, at 22.295 and the LTZ which will be the top of the range, for 29.735 CAD.
“The new Orlando builds on the transformation of Chevrolet’s fuel efficient and versatile product portfolio, offering a family-friendly vehicle in a key segment in the Canadian market. With its expected segment-leading fuel efficiency and standard 7-passenger seating, the Orlando should be a popular choice with Canadian families”, said the president and managing director of GM Canada, Kevin Williams.
The entry-level Orlando LS will be powered by a 2.4 liter four-cylinder Ecotec engine with direct injection, developing 174 horsepower. As standard features, the LS will get ESC (Electronic Stability Control), six airbags, air conditioning, remote locking and the Orlando flip-front stereo.
