Chevrolet is planning the introduction of the first special edition of the new Camaro generation, the so-called Camaro Krypton Special Edition.
While everyone is looking forward towards the official unveil of the new Chevrolet Camaro generation, the North American based automaker is apparently planning the introduction of a first special edition of the muscle car. According to a recent report, the company has recently filed an application to trademark the Krypton and the Camaro Krypton monikers with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and this may have something to do with the future Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice movie, which will be released on the 25th of March, 2016. We’re not sure exactly how different this will actually be compared to the standard ride but we will find out over the next few weeks.
The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will be officially unveiled, for the very first time, on the 16th of May, at a special public event, which will be taking place at Detroit’s Belle Isle Park. The vehicle will be completely new compared to the current one and it will be riding on the Alpha platform, which is currently used by General motors for other front-engined and rear-wheel / all-wheel drive vehicles. The model is said to come with a 4-cylinder engine under its hood, which will be rivaling the Mustang EcoBoost, along with a larger 6.2 liter V8. Additional details on the muscle car are limited for the moment and will be announced this weekend.
