Chevrolet has recently announced the official starting price for the 2014 SS in the United States, which has been set at 44,470 USD.
Being based on the Australian Holden Commodore and being basically a revived Pontiac G8 sedan, the 2014 Chevrolet SS costs almost as much as the brand new Corvette Stingray generation. According to the car manufacturer, the official starting price for the 2014 Chevy SS has been set at 44,470 USD.
“The all-new SS is engineered for performance enthusiasts who’ve been clamoring for a rear-wheel-drive sedan. Adding the SS to the lineup further solidifies Chevrolet’s position as America’s best-selling performance-car brand that also includes the all-new 2014 Corvette Stingray and Camaro Z/28”, said the VP of Chevrolet Marketing, Chris Perry.
The 2014 Chevrolet SS is coming with standard features such as the automatic park assist, Chevy MyLink, sat-nav, Bose premium sound system, SiriusXM radio with 12-month trial, dual-zone automatic climate control, head-up display, heated and ventilated front seats with memory, rearview camera, LDW, SBZ (Side Blind Zone) and much more. Power to the model is being provided by a 6.2 liter LS3 V8 engine, which is good for 415 HP and 415 lb-ft of torque. The 0 to 60 mph sprint is done in 5 seconds.
