Chevy teasing 2014 Camaro SS for New York image

The North American based automaker Chevrolet has recently released a first teaser image with the 2014 Camaro SS, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 New York Auto Show.

With the new edition of the New York Auto Show opening its gates for the media on the 27th of March, Chevrolet couldn’t stay aside from the event and after announcing some other models which will be unveiled over there, the carmaker has taken everyone by surprise, by saying that an upgraded Camaro SS will make its way into the New York Auto Show.

The upgraded Camaro SS is wearing the 2014 model year in its name and we can definitely say that it will be banned in Israel, because of its “Nazi” name, just like the Chevy SS. Anyway, the image posted above is showing the front grille of the 2014 Camaro SS and the model is expected to get a facelift which will include a new front bumper, revised side skirts, a new rear bumper, an upgraded interior design and some other tweaks. Rumors are saying that the upgraded Camaro SS will get a new 3.6 liter twin-turbo V6 engine under its hood, the same one from the Caddy CTS 2014, along with a 7.0 liter LS7 V8. More details on the 2014 Camaro SS will be announced in New York.
