Chevrolet has released a teaser image with the 2015 Corvette Z06, which will be officially presented to the public early next year, during the 2014 NAIAS in Detroit.
The North American based automaker Chevrolet is getting ready to officially pull the wraps off the 2015 Corvette Z06, early next year, during the 2014 NAIAS in Detroit. The sports car in question is entering our news with the help of a teaser image which is not showing anything important, but we can clearly see the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires, the unique alloy wheels and the carbon fiber side skirts.
“Chevrolet is America’s favorite performance car brand, and for 2014 we are going to offer enthusiasts more choices than ever before. No other manufacturer will be able to match the breath of performance cars from Chevrolet”, said the Chevy Global senior vice president, Alan Batey.
The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is believed to be powered by a 7.0 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, which should produce a total output of 600 HP (447 kW) and, if this turns out to be true, it will be 38 HP (24 kW) less powerful than the previous ZR1. Additional details on the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will be announced during the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, next month.
