Chevy teasing new-gen Camaro at NAIAS image

The North American based automaker Chevrolet has released a teaser image with the new generation of the Camaro, during the 2015 NAIAS, in Detroit.

The muscle car battle is on as Ford has pulled the wraps off the new Mustang generation last year and introduced the hot 2016 Shelby GT350R Mustang at the 2015 North American International Auto Show, in NAIAS, while the other main competitor, Dodge, has taken the game to a whole new level with the impressive Challenger SRT Hellcat, which has become the most powerful production muscle car ever.

Now, with the ball in Chevrolet’s yard, the GM owned company is getting ready to officially pull the wraps off the new Camaro generation, but until this will happen, the carmaker is continuing to test it. During the 2015 Detroit Motor Show, Chevrolet kept flashing an image with the new Camaro generation, from time to time, but don’t expect to see the whole car just yet.

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is believed to be officially unveiled later on this year. The model should be riding on the same Alpha platform, from the Cadillac ATS, which has been reworked, and it will adopt a 2-liter four-cylinder engine, again, from the same 3-Series fighter, which will be good for 272 HP and it should be the carmaker’s answer to the Mustang EcoBoost, with its 310 HP and 433 Nm 2.3L four-cylinder unit. Additional details on the new generation of the Chevrolet Camaro remain unknown for the moment.
