Chevy unveils Silverado Custom for Chicago image

Chevrolet has officially pulled the wraps off its newest creation, the Silverado Custom, which will be officially presented to the public later on, during the 2015 Chicago Auto Show.

The brand new Chevrolet Silverado Custom is the newest addition to the company’s lineup. The model in question will go on sale soon and it will be priced from 33,820 USD, which will be the V8 in two-wheel drive, while for the all-wheel drive model you will have to pay 37,800 USD. Both prices exclude the 1,195 destination charge.

The Chevrolet Silverado Custom is based on the double cab Silverado LS and it is bringing features such as the chrome finish on both bumpers, on the door handles and side mirror caps and some body colored top cap above the front bumper. The cabin of the vehicle is bringing the MyLink infotainment system with WiFi and 4G LTE connectivity, the power windows, power door locks, the cruise control, the tilt steering wheel and more.

The 2016 Chevrolet Silverado Custom is using a 5.3 liter EcoTec3 V8 engine under its hood, which is producing a total of 355 HP and 383 lb-ft of torque, allowing the model to return 23 mpg on the highway. Besides this, a smaller 4.3 liter EcoTec V6 engine will also be added, which is capable of producing a total output of 285 HP and 305 lb-ft of torque. Order books for the model in question will be opened next month.
