The 2015 Subaru Legacy has been officially presented to the public, in a premiere, during the 2014 Chicago Auto Show.
The brand new Subaru Legacy has been spied by photographers while it was being tested several times in the past few months and, according to the car manufacturer, the model will go on sale this summer. The 2015 Subaru Legacy has received the Active Grille Shutter system on the 2.5i models, LED taillights, muscular wheel arches, raked windscreen, higher quality materials, an improved overall design and either 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels.
Notable highlights found in the cabin of the model include the additional shoulder, leg, hip and elbow room, the 6.2-inch display for the infotainment system, soft-touch plastics and some metallic trim. Two engines are available for this vehicle, the 175 HP (130 kW) and 235 Nm (174 lb-ft) of torque 2.5 liter four-cylinder, and the six-cylinder 3.6 liter with its 256 HP (191 kW) and 334 Nm (247 lb-ft) of torque. Both units are mated to the same Lineatronic CVT which is sending power to the all-wheel drive system. No pricing details have been announced yet and will probably be made public during its launch.
