Chicago Auto Show: 2016 Chevrolet Camaro teased once more image

A new teaser has been released by Chevrolet during the 2015 Chicago Auto Show depicting the upcoming Camaro generation, which will be unveiled later on this year.

After the teaser released during the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is being highlighted once again, this time with the help of yet another teaser, which has been released recently, at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show. The image is showing the profile of the upcoming muscle car which will have a tough job, that of living up to the name of the impressive Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will be officially presented to the public sometimes this year, probably in Geneva next month or in New York. The vehicle in question is believed to be riding on the Alpha platform, the same one used on the Cadillac ATS, which has been reworked. The muscle car will be getting a 2-liter four-cylinder engine under its hood, borrowed from the BMW 3-Series fighter once again, which is believed to pack a total of 272 HP. This will be rivaling the Mustang EcoBoost and even if it’s not as powerful as its competitor, it is still a good start. Expect a V6 and even a V8 under the hood of the new Camaro generation too. More details on the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro are limited for the moment and will be announced in the near future, when it will be unveiled.
