Chicago Auto Show: Nissan 370Z NISMO Roadster Concept image

Nissan’s newest creation, the 370Z NISMO Roadster Concept, has been officially presented to the public during the 2015 Chicago Auto Show.

The Nissan 370Z NISMO Roadster Concept has recently made its public debut in Chicago. The model in question is a one-off design study and this basically means that if there will be enough demand to justify it, than the model will be joining the 370Z NISMO Coupe and it will be expanding the NISMO lineup to five models. The vehicle has a power folding fabric roof, a GT-R inspired aerodynamic body kit, NISMO red striping, blacked out headlight bezels, a carbon fiber custom rear spoiler, large 19-inch NISMO super lightweight alloy wheels and so on.

The interior of the sports car has added the 3-spoke NISMO steering wheel which has been wrapped in Alcantara and leather, a red NISMO tachometer, two black Recaro leather appointed seats with red stitching, the navigation system, a 7-inch color touch screen display, a rearview camera and several other tweaks which will be transforming this into one appealing model, so get ready to see it in a dealership near you in the future.

The most important part of the car is under its hood, where the 3.7 liter V6 engine is found. This is the same unit found on its solid roof brother, the 370Z Nismo, which is capable of producing a total output of 350 HP (257 kW) and a peak torque of 374 Nm (276 lb-ft). The concept car has an automatic transmission but the coupe is also offering a manual. No performance details have been announced for the moment.
