BMW has recently announced its plans to introduce two special editions of the M5 and M6 Gran Coupe, named the Horse Editions, to the Chinese automotive market.
China remains one important market for BMW and in order to attract more customers into the brand, or into its M developed models in this case, the carmaker has recently announced two special editions for the M5 and M6 Gran Coupe, named the Horse Editions. According to the car manufacturer, the new BMW M5 and M6 Gran Coupe Horse Edition is celebrating the Chinese Year of the Horse which has recently started.
The two models have received the Chinese character for the horse, embroidered in the headrests, and they are also packing the Active M Differential, the sports exhaust system, the sportier suspension system and the large 20-inch M light alloy wheels, amongst others. The BMW M5 and M6 Gran Coupe horse Editions are also adding the Competition package, which is allowing the 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine to produce a total output of 575 HP (423 kW). Additional details on the two special editions are limited for the moment and will probably be announced during their official launch.
