Citroen C1 Connection Special Edition launched in the U.K. image

The French based automaker Citroen has announced that the C1 Connection Special Edition has been launched in the United Kingdom.

According to the car manufacturer, the Citroen C1 Connection Special Edition has been designed by Facebook users and the model is actually based on the VTR trim level, coming in both three- and five-door body styles. The Citroen C1 Connection Special Edition is getting a Caldera Black metallic exterior, Scarlet Red accents, tinted windows and a fresh set of 14-inch alloy wheels, along with some limited interior changes like the Scarlet Red accents on the speedometer, center console and air vents.

The Citroen C1 Connection Special Edition is powered by a 1.0 liter three-cylinder petrol engine, which is producing a total output of 67 horsepower (68 PS / 50 kW) and it has a peak torque of 93 Nm (69 lb-ft). The three-door version of the Citroen C1 Connection Special Edition can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 12.3 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 158 km/h (98 mph). The Citroen C1 Connection Special Edition has a starting price in the United Kingdom of 9,495 GBP, which is 500 pounds more than the VTR version but Citroen says that the model has 925 GBP worth of additional equipment.
