The French based automaker Citroen is planning to develop a DS version of the C4 Aircross which is expected to debut in Europe at first and in China and Russia after that.
Even if there is no official word from the car manufacturer on this subject just yet, the guys at motorionline.com are saying that the Citroen C4 Aircross has all the changes of getting a DS version. According to our source, the new French premium crossover in the DS version might make its way onto the market in 2015 and the model will be offered in Europe at first, going to China and Russia right after that. The Citroen C4 Aircross DS is expected to bring new design elements to the exterior and the interior while the technical platform will remain unchanged.
While the technical platform of the Citroen C4 Aircross DS, or the Citroen DS4 Aircross as it will probably be named, will remain unchanged, the premium crossover will get a new engine, which, theoretically, should be more powerful than any unit in the current lineup of the model. Unfortunately we don’t have any more details on the Citroen DS4 Aircross but if the model will be confirmed, Citroen might develop a concept which will preview the final production version.
