Citroen C4 was launched in Malaysia image

The French based automaker Citroen has recently announced that its C4 model has been launched in Malaysia.

According to the car manufacturer, the Malaysian Citroen C4 is only available with a single engine, the familiar THP156 1.6 liter turbo unit which is developing a total output of 156 horsepower and has a peak torque of 240 Nm, being mated to a six-speed EGS automatic transmission which is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.6 seconds before hitting a top speed of 212 km/h. Besides being available with only one engine on the Malaysian auto market, the Citroen C4 is also coming in a single trim line, the Exclusive.

The Malaysian Citroen C4 Exclusive is coming with 17 inch Phoenix alloy rims wrapped in 225/45 tires, seats finished in Mistral Saint Cyr, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, blind spot monitoring system, front fog lamps, Denon audio system, USB connectivity, four distinct polyphonic sound themes for driver alerts and adjustable color meter cluster. The Citroen C4 is coming in a choice of nine exterior colors, like the Perla Nera Black, Hickory Brown, Shark Grey, Arctic Steel, Bourrasque Blue, Motivoire Beige, Fluid Grey, Polar White and Babylon Red.

Besides the Citroen C4, the French manufacturer has also launched the Citroen DS4 in Malaysia, which is coming with two engine choices, the THP 156 and the THP 200, and two transmissions, a six-speed EGS and a six-speed manual. The Citroen DS4 has been priced at RM150.000 while the C4 costs RM126.000. Both units will arrive in February, 2012, in Malaysia.
