Citroen is currently testing its new crossover, which is called the Cactus, in cold weather conditions, in Northern Europe.
Most carmakers are taking advantage of the cold weather front which has recently hit Europe to test their new vehicles and Citroen isn’t a stranger to this “action” either. Our spy photographers have recently spotted out a prototype version of the Cactus concept, which will hit the production line soon. The model in question is previewed by the concept car wearing the same name, which has been unveiled back in 2013, during the Frankfurt Motor Show. The crossover has been also teased by the car manufacturer and it won’t be long until we will see it on the streets.
The new Citroen Cactus, or the C4 Cactus as it might be known as, is believed to get a variety of petrol and diesel engines under its hood, but the THP 155 HP will not be found on the model because it will make it too expensive. Some of the features which will be adopted onto the crossover, in its final production form, will be the panoramic sunroof, the lounge like interior design, tailgate mounted spoiler, distinctive alloy wheels and much more. Sadly we have no more news on the Citroen Cactus for the moment but the model is believed to make its public debut in Geneva, this March.
