Citroen has released a first teaser image with the DS3 Cabrio, ahead of the model’s debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show at the end of September.
According to the French based automaker, the new Citroen DS3 Cabrio will be revealed tomorrow (Friday, the 31st of August, 2012) but its public presentation will be held at the 2012 Paris Motor Show next month. Future owners of the new Citroen DS3 Cabrio will have to wait until early next year before being able to drive the model because the car manufacturer has announced that the model will arrive in showrooms in the first part of 2013.
The Citroen DS3 Cabrio is getting a soft top similar to the one used by Fiat on the 500C and with the roof down, the edges will remain in their place, along with the side windows. The dynamics of the Citroen DS3 Cabrio is expected to remain similar to the standard version of the model and the body didn’t get a lot of modifications. Rumors are saying that the company might named this new model the DS3 Airflow but there is no official word on this. Under the hood, the DS3 Cabrio will get the same diesel and petrol engines as its brother, the regular DS3. More details on the model will probably be announced at the Paris Motor Show.
