Citroen has recently released more images with the DS3 Racing Cabrio, which will be making its public debut next month, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
Originally unveiled in pre-production form last year, during the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the new Citroen DS3Racing Cabrio is ending up in our news once again, this time with the company announcing its debut in Geneva, next month, in production form. And speaking about its production variant, you should probably hurry up and place a deposit for it, because only 100 units will be assembled, which is significantly less to the 1,000 units of the regular DS3 Racing.
The Citroen DS3 Racing Cabrio has shed its metal roof and rear window in exchange for a foldable cloth top, which is adding 25 kg (55 lbs). A new Moondark matte grey body color, along with the black roof, the Carmin Red door bands and accents and the 18-inch Nemesis gloss black wheels are the only differences seen. The interior has received a number identification plate on the gear lever surround. Power is being provided by a 1.6 liter turbocharged petrol unit, which is rated at 204 HP. The unit will be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, sending power to the FWD.
