The French based automaker Citroen has recently announced that a special edition of the DS3, named the Sebastien Loeb Edition, will be officially presented to the public at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show on the 6th of March.
Besides the 2012 Gay Car of the Year DS4, Citroen will also debut models like the C4 Aircross SUV, the DS4 Racing Concept and the C1 facelift at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next month, along with the DS3 Sebastien Loeb Edition. According to the car manufacturer, the Citroen DS3 Sebastien Loeb Edition will come with door mirrors, roof, grille, gearstick and dashboard panel in a contrasting red, the model will be fitted with some special limited series decals and it will also get a numbered identification plate on the roof lining.
“Citroen is the first manufacturer to launch a car with this type of paint. The special finish is not only robust, but also highlights the lines of the car. The roof, door mirrors, grille, dashboard fascia and gearstick base all feature a contrasting shade of red. The new model also features special decals and, as an exclusive limited series, sports a numbered identification plate on the roof lining”, as the automaker is saying in its official press release.
Citroen says that the DS3 Racing Sebastien Loeb Edition will be limited to only 200 units, each of them signed by the rally champion.
