The French based automaker Citroen has recently announced that the DS3 has been launched in China, where the model has a base starting price set at 199,800 yuan.
With the drop top version of the Citroen DS3 being officially revealed a couple of days ago, and with the model going to the 2012 Paris Motor Show, which will open its gates later on this month, the regular DS3 is entering our news, with the car manufacturer announcing its arrival in China, where it can be ordered after the 199,800 yuan (24,920 euros) will be paid, for the base entry-level version.
Citroen is saying that the DS3 will be available in China with a single engine, the 1.6 liter naturally aspirated petrol unit, which can generate a total output of 120 horsepower. The unit will be mated to either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission. Just like we said above, prices for the Citroen DS3 in China start at 199,800 yuan (24,920 euros) and they can go up to 249,800 yuan (31,170 euros), depending on the options list. Citroen didn’t announce its plans to build the DS3 in China, but who knows, this may be just a first step into doing just that.
