Citroen DS5 LS arrives in China

Citroen has introduced the DS5 LS premium sedan in China recently as the model has been specifically created for this market.

The brand new Citroen DS5 LS will be created in Chang’an Automobile Group’s Shenzhen facility, along with the regular DS5, and it’s getting ready to become available for order this March. The carmaker states that the DS5 LS stands at 4,700 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width and 1,500 mm in height, being actually 170 mm longer and 30 mm wider than the regular DS5. The new model is riding on a 2,710 mm wheelbase and it has been inspired by the Wild Rubis and the Numero 9 concept cars.

As far as the engine lineup goes, two petrol engines will become available for the Citroen DS5 LS, both of them with a 1.6 liter four-cylinder displacement and both of them petrol burners, with the first one developing 120 kW and 240 Nm of torque, in a naturally aspirated form, while the turbocharged will come with 147 kW and 275 Nm of torque. Standard items will include the front and rear parking sensors, the multimedia systems, keyless entry, push-button start, blind spot monitor, rearview camera and much more. Additional details on the Citroen DS5 LS remain unknown for the moment.
