Citroen teases Cactus M concept ahead of IAA Frankfurt debut image

The French brand is on a positive trend thanks to the group’s overall recovery and because of the success it had with certain models – including the odd C4 Cactus crossover that rekindled those innovative roots.

The French automaker has now decided to showcase the first teaser image with the Cactus M concept, the model being set to debut in a few weeks time in the middle of September during the 2015 IAA Frankfurt motor show. The teaser is pretty self-explanatory – meaning you don’t get to see any actual part of the vehicle itself. Instead we get to see an automotive paint shop derailing into having a “dude” paint a blue and white surfboard with a myriad of Cactus M badges. That means we’re getting a summertime concept just when the actual summer is over and the vehicle will also have a surfboard rack to house that flourish paint job. Anyways, the mystery goes on as the carmaker previously stated the concept will feature a “bold and creative” stance designed to “revisit the spirit of the legendary Méhari.” Speculation also points out to the creation of a convertible C4 Cactus, but so far the real deal is still anyone’s guess.

Anyways, the C4 Cactus is a compact crossover that rekindles Citroen’s innovative spirit – from engineering to cabin atmosphere and the success was quick to follow the version that has actually almost nothing to do (except for the innards, of course) with the traditional compact C4.
