The interior design with the luxury SUV signed by Citroen, the DS 6WR, has been officially unveiled in the first images which have been released by the French based automaker.
Originally introduced at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, back in April, the China exclusive vehicle will be produced locally and launch this September. It will be sold through a 60 dealership network and it will be getting the LED interior lighting, the aluminum trim on the steering wheel, the center console and the doors, the Grip Control system and some other tweaks, which should make it quite popular in the Asian country.
“As DS sets out to become a premium brand on a worldwide scale, the results obtained in two years in China, the world’s number-one automotive market, encourage us in the pursuit of our business offensive”, said the Citroen chief executive officer of the DS brand, Yves Bonnefont.
The brand new Citroen DS 6WR is standing in at 4.55 meters long, 1.86 meters wide and 1.61 meters tall. The model is riding on a 2.73 meter long wheelbase and it has 19-inch alloy wheels. Power is being provided by an e-THP unit, with 160 HP (118 kW), or by a THP engine, with 200 HP (147 kW), connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
