Clarkson, Hammond and May are back, on Amazon Prime image

The former Top Gear hosts have recently signed a deal with Amazon in order to create a brand new motoring show.

Top Gear may have been gone in the current format, as we know it, but Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond will soon be back on our screens with a brand new motoring show. Besides the three presenters, the deal also includes adding former Top Gear executive producer Andy Wilman to the team too and the show will be broadcasted exclusively on Amazon Prime.

“Customers told us they wanted to see the team back on screen, and we are excited to make that happen. Millions of Prime members are already enjoying our ground-breaking original shows. We can’t wait to see what Jeremy, Richard, James and the team will create in what is sure to be one of the most globally anticipated shows of 2016”, said the vice-president of Amazon Prime Video in Europe, Jay Marine.

It seems that the final format of the show hasn’t been finished at this point and it doesn’t even have a name yet, but considering the fact that we are talking about the most famous automotive journalists on the planet, with the former Top Gear executive producer behind them, we can definitely say that all will be finished soon. The new show will launch in 2016 and it will broadcast exclusively on Amazon Prime. We will return with fresh details once we will have them.
