Here’s an interesting EP with just five songs that sing music to our motoring fantasies – Porsche version. The new installment in Porsche’s quest to find some of its best models includes hits such as the Carrera RS 2.7 or 911 GT3 RS.
According to the Stuttgart folks, the best sounding Porsche models ever are included in the embedded video below. This comes swiftly after last week we saw the company’s five rarest factory models, so we’re expecting even more top fives to come with its appealing models in the near future. Returning to the track album on hand, we first listen to the “voice” of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 – of which just 500 units were produced featuring a 210-horsepower (154-kilowatts) six-cylinder boxer engine. Coming in fourth is the iconic 550 Spyder – packing a vocal 110-horsepower (81-kilowatt) 1.5-liter aluminum engine.
Third place is occupied by the 500-horsepower (372-kilowatt) 911 GT3 RS while at the number two position the 887-horsepower (652-kilowatt) 918 Spyder and its 4.6-liter hybrid V8 setup comes in with its Nurburgring record and all. Since we’re all fans of the Porsche brand let’s recognize the truth – we already knew who was first – the iconic and sometimes infamous Carrera GT. It was first delivered back in 2004 as the flagship supercar, just 1,270 units were manufactured and each had a 5.7-liter V10 good for 612-horsepower.
