Concorso D’Eleganza Villa d’Este: Pininfarina Cambiano Concept image

The Italian car design company Pininfarina has pulled the wraps off the Cambiano Concept at the Concorso D’Eleganza Villa d’Este over the weekend.

In a wonderful scenery on the grass and with a lot of people posing it, the Pininfarina Cambiano Concept was one of the “main attractions” at the 2012 Concorso D’Eleganza Villa d’Este and after the vehicle has been officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, time has come for the company to bring it to Italy too. The Pininfarina Cambiano Concept is a luxury sports sedan-coupe which was inspired by the 1957 Lancia Florida II.

Acocrding to its creators, the Pininfarina Cambiano Concept weighs 1,700 kg (2,748 lb) and the model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 275 km/h (186 mph). The vehicle in question is powered by a range-extended electric drive train, which is coming with four electric motors, each of them generating 82 horsepower, and a small diesel engine, which is acting like a generator to recharge the batteries. The Pininfarina Cambiano Concept has a total range of 200 km or 124 miles. You can watch the model at the Concorso D’Eleganza Villa d’Este in the photo gallery below. Enjoy!
