At the Concorso D’Eleganza Villa d’Este, the German premium carmaker BMW unveiled the Zagato Coupe Concept.
Designed in collaboration with Zagato, the Zagato Coupe is a unique take on the idea of a BMW two-seater built for sport and style.
Divided visually into three sections, the generous glass surfaces open up a line of sight to the lights and into the interior. Their dark tint gives the BMW Zagato Coupe an even sportier look. The double-bubble roof is another sign.
The front contains twin circular headlights, a kidney-shaped radiator grille and BMW logo. The characteristic which stood out the most was the use of countless small matt Zagato “z” letters to make up the kidney grille.
BMW says the Zagato coupe is a fully road-legal car that has undergone high-speed testing, which challenged the designers further as they had to pen a car that could actually hit the streets and the track.
It has 400 hp.
